Hats of Passion is a commemorative exhibition dedicated to Queen Elizabeth II, capturing the essence of her seven passions through sculptural interpretations of her iconic hats. We worked closely with artists and curators to develop a brand strategy and full campaign that honoured her legacy while avoiding traditional funeral symbolism. The exhibition was designed to be a refined and respectful celebration of Her Majesty’s personal interests, held at the prestigious Salon Privé in Blenheim Palace.
Our creative direction focused on balancing sensitivity with elegance. The concept required a sophisticated approach to narrative, where each design element needed to reflect the Queen’s refined character and rich inner world. The visual identity was inspired by the textures and tones of natural marble, tying into the sculptures and materials used in the exhibition.
The campaign included strategic brand design, print materials, product labels, and exhibition signage. We aimed to express the personal passions of the Queen through a subtle yet symbolic visual language. Each element, from colour palettes to typography, was designed to honour her legacy while highlighting the craftsmanship behind the marble sculptures.
